WebCon Simple Help Desk is a complete solution for Microsoft SharePoint that automates and manages the HelpDesk processes within a company. It handles task delegation to selected employees on a base of task categories. Each HelpDesk process in the system flows through five predefined statuses, thus the work is organized and well documented. WebCon Simple HelpDesk monitors efficiency of HelpDesk departments giving their managers a complete insight into what and who is doing, how well tasks are handled, etc. Data is presented per employee, task category, customer, etc. Each employee is able to monitor tasks assigned to him and view their statuses as well as details. Whenever a new task is assigned, the employee is notified via an e-mail. The e-mail is also sent whenever status of the task is changed. When a new HelpDesk task is created, user is able to: - assign a task category
- set a priority
- choose a person to handle it
- set a completion deadline
- add a textual description of the task
When processing a task it is possible to: - change the task parameters,
- consult the task with its creator,
- change the person assigned to handle the task,
- add a comment.
