WebCon Organization Structure is a complete solution dedicated for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 users. It allows to present and manage an organizational structure of a company on a SharePoint portal. WebCon Organization Structure renders it possible to visualize the organizational chart in a clear and readable way. The chart is beeing built on a base of the Active Directory data and depicts a hierarchical dependencies between company's employees. User accounts and profiles management in a sheer Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 becomes extremely absorbing as the organization grows and changes as there is no possibility to synchronize the data between the platform and the Active Directory service automatically. As the new account (user) is added to the SharePoint site its details are loaded from the Active Directory, yet after that, any changes done either to SharePoint or to Active Directory account are not sunchronized anymore. As a result, whenever any change is required, it needs to be manually enetered both in the Active Directory and the SharePoint. WebCon Organization Structure enables WSS 3.0 to synchronize user profiles with the Active Directory. The synchronization is done daily and works both ways which means that all updates done to one of these systems, results in an automatic update to the second one. It is possible to change the scope of the synchronization so certain data is included or excluded from it - i.e. synchronization may only affect accounts and/or profiles with an e-mail address assigned to them.
